![]() Click here to compare prices and buy online (UK) Review: Well as Gordon Ramsay might say if he was a poker player,Harrington on hold em:expert strategy series is tournament poker DONE!! From total beginner to advanced player anyone and everyone can learn from these books. Harrington leaves nothing untouched as he takes you through every aspect of tournament poker from what hands to play in what posistion, against what kind of oppenents, to pot odds, to how to bet, when to bet and why to bet in different situations. I have all three in the series and can not put it any more simple then buy, read, improve, read again, improve some more. If you want to know what tournament poker is all about well you will not find better than this book. Harrington on Hold 'em: Expert Strategy for No Limit Tournaments: The Endgame ![]() Click here to compare prices and buy online (UK) Review: I have read an number of poker books and I didnt particularly enjoy this one. I found it to be overtly americanised and not exactly a joy to read. I am not saying his strategies are incorrect but I prefer to read something slightly less subtle. I dont want a book which I have to re read. I just want hard hitting winning stratergies. Harrington on Hold 'em: Expert Strategies for No Limit Tournaments: Workbook v. 3 (Harrington on Hold'em) ![]() Click here to compare prices and buy online (UK) Review: The format of this book is unique, giving examples of major hands in major tournaments and running through the probable thought processes of top professional poker players. The full house which Harman lost with in the WSOP being one of the most memorable. A nice read, which will improve intermediate level players games. The only thing I didn't like about it was that Harrington seems to think there is a right way to play each hand, it's a bit too prescriptive, whereas in my opinion poker is art as well as science, and players need to develop their own game.
